ABOUT
Starting at 16, Stephanie cut her teeth on stages across Canada, working with some of the country's top theatre directors before graduating from Studio 58. Since then, her stage work has garnered critical acclaim, nominations, and awards for her skill at bringing raw, emotional truth to her work.
Stephanie now spends most of her time in front of or around a camera, most recently wrapping four seasons of playing Officer Daisy Korber on CW's The Flash. Other select credits include CW’s The 100, Netflix’s Firefly Lane and Breathe, and the rough-around-the-edges Lena on Netflix comedy Blockbuster.
As a writer and director, her award-winning short film Livefeed (2019) won Scariest Film at the 2019 Blood N Guts Festival and her next script Queen of the Underworld is a Second Round Finalist at the prestigious Austin Film Festival and is set to go into production fall 2023, fully funded by the Canada Council for the Arts.
Stephanie’s second film Consumer was a Top 6 Winner at the Crazy 8s Filmmaking Incubator in 2022, was a winner of Stage 32’s International Short Film Competition, and is currently on the international festival circuit, including stops at Raindance Film Festival (London), HollyShorts (LA), Nightmares Film Festival (Ohio), Blood In The Snow (Toronto), VHS (Vancouver) Lady Filmmakers (LA) and the Chicago Film Festival. The film has won two Best Director awards, Best Music, Best Editing, and was nominated for five Leos Awards, winning the Best Score award.
Stephanie's voice work can be heard all over the world, battle crying in 17 video games and with commercial clients such as Nintendo Games, MacDonalds, and Tropicana. This past spring she voiced Indy, the rambunctious racecar in the animated children's series Rainbow Ruby and the Netflix series The Dragon Prince.
Stephanie continues to hone her craft with Vancouver's top coaches and as an acting coach herself. Follow her to stay up-to-date on what's coming in 2022.
